Structural Features of Fixed Ball Valve Series

1) DISTINCTIVE SEATING STRUCTUREA

ccording to the extent of pressure, medium propertiesand sealing requirements, fixed ball valves may be madeto front seal structure, back seal structure, or front-backdual seal structure.

FRONT SEAL STRUCTURE

The front seal structure of valve seat gives the functionsof two way seal and self-relieving functionat middle ca-vity. As shown in the figure, the sealing socket inlaidwithappropriate polymeric material (high molecular materialof NYLON, MOLON, DELRIN or PEEK) is float. With spingloaded, when closed, the sea-ling face remains alwaysin close contact with the ball, thus to ensure leak-tig-htness under whatever high or low differential pressure . Upstream: valve seat moves axially along with the valve,the upstream (inlet) pressure P applied to A2 producesa directional force on A1. As A2 is larger than A1, A2-A1=X, so the pressure on X will push the valve seat towardthe ball to actualize close seal at upstream. Downstream:in case the pressure inside valve cavity Pb rises, theforce acted upon A3 will be greater than that upon A4,A3-A4=X2. The differential pressure formed up on X2will overcome the spring force and make valve seat se-parated from ball, and then, the valve seat will be closedto the ball again under sping action.

BACK SEAL STRCTURE

The piston effect at valve seat produced by the areadifference between 'd' and 'dm' (see figure on the right)will make seating seal ring and ball closely contactedand sealed under the medium action at the middle ca-vity of valve body.

FRONT-BACK SEAL STRUCTURE

At the inlet inside, the piston effect at valve seat pro-duced by the area differece between 'd' and 'dm' willmake seating seal ring and ball closely contacted andsealed under the medium action ay upstream. At theoutlet side, the pisoton effect produced by the areadifferece between 'do' and 'dm' will make seating sealring and ball closely contacted and sealed under theaction of medium pressure at the middle cavity of valvebody.

2)Self-relieving Structure 
In the event of abnormal pressure buildup in the middle cavity, single-seal ball valves feature automatic pressure relief, while double-seal ball valves relieve pressure via an auxiliary pressure relief device on the valve body.
3)Emergency Seal System 
The valve is equipped with an auxiliary emergency seat sealing system. If the soft seat is damaged or fails in an emergency, emergency sealing can be achieved by injecting sealant through the auxiliary system. If required, the emergency seal assembly can be used to flush and lubricate the seat area. An auxiliary emergency sealing system can also be provided for the valve stem.
4)Fire-safe Structure 
Ball valves can be designed to be fire-safe according to API 607 and JB/T 6899 based on service conditions and user requirements. In the event of a fire burning out the soft seal ring, the fire-safe structure prevents massive medium leakage and fire spread.
5)Antistatic Structure 
During operation, friction between the ball and seat generates static electricity that accumulates on the ball. To prevent static sparks, an antistatic device is installed to discharge accumulated static charge from the ball.
6)Locking Device 
Locking devices are provided at the full-open and full-closed positions of manual ball valves to prevent misoperation and accidental opening or closing caused by pipeline vibration. This design is particularly effective for production lines handling flammable media in petroleum and chemical industries, as well as for outdoor installations.
7)Full Bore & Reduced Bore Structure 
To meet different user requirements, full bore and reduced bore ball valve series are available. The inner diameter of full bore ball valves matches that of the pipeline for convenient cleaning. Reduced bore ball valves are lighter, with flow resistance only 1/7 that of globe valves of the same size, giving them broader application prospects.

8) DISCHARGE DEVICE ON VALVE BODY

If requested byuser or by system, discharge valve may be mounted on thebody of ball valve. In case the two ends of valve have been sealed, thepressure in valve will be reeased through the discharge valve on the body.Besides the function of DBB, this discharge valve also functions to rinse andblow out the depostits inside valve body.
9) CORROSION RESISTANCE

Corrosion allowance is left for the design of body thickness, the stem, ficedshaft, ball, seat and bottom cover of carbon steel valve are all chemicalplated in surface to ASTM B733 and B656. Use of paint from internationalcompany to deal with all kinds of conditions.
10) SULFIDE STRESS CRACKING RESISANCE

Thematerials exposed to fluid of our sulfur resisting ball valves, includingfastening components, are all selected to NACE MrO175. Rigorous qualitycontrol and inspection is implemented in the manufacturing process tomake our products conformed to the standard and suitanle for vulvanizingconditions.
11) EXTENSION BAR DEVICE

Extension device may be procided foe buried ball valves. Which include theextension of valve stem, greasing valve and discharge valve. As shown inthe figure on the right, users shall specify the requirements and length to beextended (The length is generally the distance from the center of valvechannel to the venter of operating device).

For normal products in 7-10 days; For bulk order, in 15-25 days. It depends. 
 
7. Warranty time? 
3 years warranty for all of our stainless steel products. Gaskets or the easy broken parts are not included due to the different application for customers.
